⚖️ SRA Transparency & Client Care Standard
Under Rule 8.7 of the SRA Code of Conduct, solicitors in England & Wales must ensure clients receive the best possible information about how their matter will be priced, their fee earner's hourly rates (in 6-minute units), the complaints procedure (Legal Ombudsman escalation window), and their statutory 14-day cooling-off rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
