1. Instructions & Objectives
We are pleased to act on your behalf regarding Meridian Senior Living LLC — commercial lease renewal, 220 S Michigan Ave. Our primary objective is to represent your interests in Landlord/Tenant under the jurisdiction of England & Wales, advising on procedural merits, court timetables, and dispute resolution.
2. Designated Fee Earner & Rates
Day-to-day conduct will be handled by Aaron Kellerman (Associate) at an hourly rate of £295.00 + VAT. Chargeable time is recorded in standard 6-minute units (£29.50 + VAT per unit). General partner supervision is maintained by Senior Partner Julian Ashworth.
3. Cost Forecast & SRA Transparency
In compliance with SRA Transparency Rules, our initial costs estimate for this procedural stage is $18,000 + VAT. If unforeseen legal complexities arise, we will inform you in writing immediately before further chargeable work is incurred.
4. Complaints & Legal Ombudsman
We aim to provide exceptional service. If any issues arise, please contact our Complaints Partner. If we cannot resolve matters within eight weeks, you have the right to contact the Legal Ombudsman (enquiries@legalombudsman.org.uk) and the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
5. Statutory 14-Day Cooling-Off Notice
Under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, individual clients hold a statutory right to cancel this engagement within 14 calendar days of receipt.
